Hey guys, love the work you've done, almost makes me think you were the original designers for Fallout at Interplay Anyway, I just recently found out about the things you've done and decided to try it, so I downloaded the 1.2, 1.3.2 "patches" and the NPC mod for Fallout (1), I then "installed" them in order as described; 1.2->1.3.2->NPC mod (Fallout was US version 1.1 before these patches), but I cannot get the NPC mod to work. Please correct me if I've misunderstood how it's supposed to work, but wasn't it supposed to add something similar to Fallout 2's NPC combat controls? I started a new game just to test it with Ian, but I can't see any changes, I can still only barter with him (not "trade" without paying) and I cannot see anything different at all. If you have any ideas or can help, please...I'd really appreciate it.

Well, if you mean F2 like interface features then it wasn't. It would be hard to implement due to technical limitations. And it is noticably out of the F1 style. Combat controls are implemented via NPC dialogs. Check 'combat tactics' brunch and you'll see the new options. Attack type preferance for example. The most important features of the mod are related to the armour handling. You can ask your teammate to wear a best one. But only if NPC has it in his/her inventory and only if it's better then the currently worn one. Additionally teammates' appearance depends on the armour type now. Trading instead of bartering was not supposed as well. Wasteland is a cruel place, you know. Also we do not intend to borrow questionable F2 features blindly. These are two different games.
