Sums do match. Fix has been applied correctly. Your installation of the game is as valid as it could be now.
When the screen becomes black is the game responsive if you move the mouse? Is it possible to 'erase' blackness with a cursor? There is well known visual bug which affects every version of the Fallout when you run it on a modern system.
If it is a definite crash it could be also caused by the broken savedgame. Send your save to Alchemistslab aT Nm dOT Ru or upload it somewhere. I'll check.

I know that black screen bug you've mentioned and I have that one too, but it can be removed simply. The one I was talking about is lethal, only ctrl+alt+del helps. By the way there should be some window named 'application error', but it's just invisible.
It's DEFINELTLY not about save game, 'cause as I've mentioned before, I've played different versions with different characters and all that.
BTW, can we discuss this somewhere else? I can speak russian as well.
