Hello to all!
Thanks for having this thread. I have been playing Fallout 2 for quite a while and it is just recen that I decided to research about making my own changes to the game. Some aspects of the game are good, some aren't THAT good. There are parts of the game story line that kinda leave the player hanging. Also, some portions of the game story aren't that clear really and keeps us asking WHY, HOW, etc...
ANyways, my name is HARDWYRD. I'm not a totally avid gamer but I have my share of what I consider good games. I played RedAlert, RA: Yuri's Revenge, Diablo 2: LOD, the Warcraft series, Halflife:CS series, etc.. (even gunbound), and MU Online.
I tried making mods for RA but grew tired of it and saw no sense really, since a lot of people are making mods for it and the story line is not very deep. I researched about MU Online and found that many people also go to it in making MU Online mods. Then I went back to Fallout and found out that despite the years of its existence, not many people were making F1/F2 mods (i hope im wrong). Despite some of it's blunders, Fallout is a great game. Deep story line, engaging scenarios and missions. And the game itself can accommodate some "additions" to fit the player's taste.
I'm looking forward to getting help from you guys since I'm still new to Fallout modding.

Hmm... And what are you going to find here? If you are searching for some guides and "documentation-for-beginners", you're in wrong place. We haven't anything like that in English. Better try to search it on NMA.
And if you'll have some concrete questions - then "welcome to the generic forum on this side of the language bar".

I hope i didnt get up on the wrong foot here :). I'm not here expecting for "newbie guides" and all that sort of stuff. This is a community. I'm hoping that I might get some more info that NMA might not have covered and most importantly, be able to learn something from previous discussions that other members were already able to work out on.
I'm very much aware that this forum is generally in Russian. I dont see it as much of a problem.
