Read dialogue more carefully. If you wanna be Shaman, you have to use your intelligence, not strength ;). In other words, don't use your battle skills, solve quest by the other way...

Bug report: Klamath: Trapper Town: not able to see the character of Sam the gardener. Dialogue appears in thin air when my character is in the house, but Sam is not visible, so I'm not able to communicate with him. Is there a solution to the problems in Aroyo without the involvement of Sam ? Or does this mean I'll never be able to do the quest ? Windows XP/AMD Athlon64 Mobile 3000+/ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128mb

Doesn't he 'work' at night ? I waited in the garden for an entire night with 30 minute intervals resting in the adjecent part of town, but nothing. Is there a particular day or part of the garden I need to be in ? Is it me ? (Addition of 13:48 - 15 Feb., 2005.) Finally solved the garden problem... had to rent a room though ;-))

Not really a bug but... Fallout seems to work in a jittery fashion after I installed the mod, especially during travelling. The sound stutters a bit too.

What do you mean ? It's not located in the closed of part of Trapper Town ? Only way down I found there was leading to a distillery. (above the Gun Shop) Does this 'rock' say something special when you view it ? Getting desperate here. What exactly did Slim say ? I can't remember. Someone ?

You have to talk to some people in Aroyo and one of them will say that he had a piece of flint, but that he lost it or something... (maybe the trader or the hunter/gecko skinner, not sure) In any case, first talk to the hunter in front of the bridge and ask him about his spear. Your evil auntie has got it, but she'll want something in return... :-))

thx a lot! But that's in original game. Now in NV the auntie only said something bullshit when i talked with her. And she has nothing when i steal.....:-( No flink -> No sharpen spear -> No skill learned from gecko hunter!!!!!

No, it's the same in this version, only slightly different... First talk to bridgeguard about his spear, then talk to trader (Slik or something) and he'll tell he had a piece of flint... THEN go to auntie, she'll have some more dialog options available... (Addition of 15:18 - 20 Feb., 2005.) Anybody know how to get down into Klamath underground ? Read something about a rock and a spring, but can't find the right rock. And what's up with that 'closed from the inside' outhouse near Vic's house ? Explosives doesn't do the trick :-)) (Addition of 16:11 - 20 Feb., 2005.)

Is the entrance to (Klamath) underground in the building with three empty metal shelves and a big pile of rocks? Or am I wasting time in the wrong place? I don't see how to go any farther west, but the rocks don't offer any clues.

Use an explosive, if the rocks disappear, you're in the right room... (better save game before using explosives)

Great! Thanks for the tip. Time to go shopping for explosives. BTW, has anyone encountered a possible bug with getting training from the chief warrior in Arroyo? I used the same character (no stat changes), different save points. One time I got him to teach me melee combat, the other time he would only say something like, "Take this cudgel and let's begin." and then just stand around. In the "good" save game, he'd start knocking me down at that point, and I'd get a skill bonus in a few "hours". No big deal, just wondering if there might be a bug.

Hope someone can help me out. I've gone to Klammath, gotten the poison and returned back to the village...everyone there is upset with me saying I cheated in the trials. I've talked to practicly everyone and exhausted all the dialog options but I seem to be stuck...I can't figure out how to clear my name or how to proceed. Thanks.

Wasteland Ghost: I've tried that. I'll get the "I don't want to shout out to you." dialogue if I'm far away, and then the "Take this cudgel" dialogue, but nothing happens. On a different occasion, he went straight from the "cudgel" dialogue to a training scene, so I have seen it work. It's just not working in this particular save game. Sphenix: Try talking to someone you think would be least likely to help you.

Does anyone know how to open one special iron door in the Klamath underground cave? There're a workbench and a dead trapper body behind it. And it showes the message "the locked door is operated by electronics... u have not enough strength to open it" when i try to open it. BTW: my str is 10! :D thanks for the reply!

How do I become a shaman? It says that I need a 30 karma but I cannot determine how to get that high in Arroyo. I leave Arroyo with a karma of 20 and whenever I go to Klamath to try and get higher and come back, Hakuin always says I'm too late (after I remove the "cheating on the trial" quest). To solve the "cheating on the trial" quest, you talk to auntie about it and say you know who it was. Say it was Jordan. Then you can go and talk to him and have a knife fight.

You mean the farm with the guy trapped? I can't figure out how to free him. I tried dynamite. Can't pick the lock. Thanks! Edit: Nevermind. I finally discovered how to do it. You should really make the "trigger" points larger from some of the quests as it is difficult to be in the "right place". Now how do I get the poison in Trapper town? can't be bothered to find a transliterator or stickers so please allow me to express my thoughts about NV in English (not that I have anything personal against the mother tongue, so feel free to reply in Russian, if you will) This thing you've done here, it's amazing. Don't listen to the whimping - this is the way an RPG is supposed to be. I mean, 1) a single character must not be able to do everything - to each his own. That's what character development is all about. 2)RPG quests are supposed to be something more than mere carrying out of given instructions - otherwise what's the point to them? 3)I agree completely with your no-walkthrough policy. This is the first time in years I have felt some sort of sense of achievement in an RPG. 4) There are many other things I liked - drugs & dialogues particularly. Uhm, continuing playing Fallout 2 after finishing this mod is degrading though. You must keep working on it. The RPG "market" is dead. Your mod is at this moment the best RPG experience available (forget about the Fall: Last days of Gaia, if you had any illusions about it. I have the Spanish version - the disappointment it brought pushed this sensitive soul to the verge of tears and primal rage ). and now, for something completely different, have you noticed that the quest from the Fallout demo (gangs in Junktown) has never been implemented? In any game? It was a great quest too. I was also thinking on a town with quests sort of like from that boring movie "the man who shot Liberty Valance" (brief sinopsis: outsider - a lawyer in the movie-, on a higher authority orders, arrives to a frontier town, with the mission to bring the Rule of Law to it). It would allow for all sorts of different quests depending on the character - (s)he could start a school, be elected as a representative, shoot badguys, attempt to prosecute them, secure the support of the powerful, bring about a revolution of the poor, use his/her tech knowledge to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants... Plus the character would have to choose for which power in the wasteland s(he) was working. Redding, which was clearly meant to be a Western frontier town, was a rather poor experience, to say the least. beeh, long post - thanks for reading it through. much obliged

I have a problem in Trapper-Town, after night searching for a thief i know than it is a boy. I told about it to the farmer and he reply that after I solve the problem he will help me. The problem is that I can not see any childres. I see notes above their heads (like others NPC) but I can not click on any. So how to find that one? BTW great mod, can not wait more :D

Congrats to the designers you beat me I give up after 22 hrs of trying to get in to klamath underground and attemting to blow up every rockpile in the entire town all 4 maps If theres a way in I can't figure it out and if there is a metal door to the west side i cant find that either.

Greetings, oh great TeamX people! Sorry if this isnt the right place for this post, but I'm not sure where else to put it. What I am wondering is if there is any way to add the Encounter Booster mod to New Visions. While I love NV, I find Fallout 2 to be hardly worth playing with the almost total lack of encounters I get without the Booster - due to high pc speed. Is there any chance these mods could be merged and released as a final version..? Thanks for your time, and a great mod!

Slygar, First of all thank thou and welcome Concerning the question: I`m not sure if it has been implemented yet, but if it has not, there will be quite a timespan before the next release because the 1.2 one is already completed and being tested now. I`m either not sure if these modes are compatible. (if they are there will be no problems) So I suggest you to wait a reply of somewhat technically aligned member . Bye.

2Slygar: Forget about Encounter Booster mod. First of all it's indeed incompatible with the most of the other mods, including New Vision. The second bad thing is that the Booster uses a dirty hack of the event frequency table. I'd suggest to use Worldmap Patcher instead. Or to run the game in the emulated environment with adjustable virtual machine perfomance. -- Removed erronous sentence --

Thanks for this great mod you guys, until now you are one of the few teams that actually delivers the goods instead of just talking ! Regarding the mod itself, I am having problems regarding the shack with the old man locked insided it.I tried to lockpick but can't seem to do it, also searched for a key but can't find it anywhere,could anybody help me ? Also in the quest to find the thief that's stealing the crops from the klamath farmer is there any way to solve the quest without killed the owner of the kid ?

I am new here. Been at NMA for a bit though. Question about english version 1.2, why is it smaller that V1.1? Does V1.1 need to be installed first? Also, I have a slower computer, 455mhz, I don't need the speed adjustment to the worldmap. Can I use the V1.1 exe with the updated V1.2?

hi! stucked at the klamath sewers *SPOILER* made the rocks blew up pass trough the door behind the crates reach the exit grid right in the next area the screen fades to black... all black and then i shout!! shake my kboard!!! sometimes throw my mx-1000 away!!!!! (right then i pick up from the ground and kiss it ;-) ) what can i do? no more mods added game with & without updates (1.02US&UK) hope that it is by my fault... i'm going mad!! thnx a lot & GREAT MOD!!! at least the part i know :-)

Hi there, first of all I'd like to congratulate and thank you for a superb mod. Everything in the mod gels perfectly with the whole feel of the game, and any changes seem for the better However, i have found that when i enter the den, the game slows down to an unplayable level, i.e : the music keeps skipping, you cant move the cursor, cant move, entering inventory or character screen takes 5 minutes or something. This is so bad that i will just have to miss the Den out , which is a pity since it's always been my favorite place in FO2 and i'm sure you guys have made it sparkle even more. I was wondering if anyone else has reported this problem, or if there is a known cause, or way of solving the problem. Thanks in advance for any input, and keep up the good work.

Hello First,Congratulations,New Vision is the best Fallout 2 mod! From Readme: New Vision v 1.2 Final version Why must be final? This mod is like an expansion,it adds new quests and people built on the Fallout story at Arroyo and Klamath.There are no more towns and people to adress?New Vision has the potential and deserves to be continued in many cities. What some people don't realise is that a total conversion game can't be as good as the original,a fan can't match a paid proffesional.But an addon,inspired from the game,can be,with hard work,as good as the main work,which in the case of Fallout 2 is (almost) perfect. Now some impressions... If I understand correctly,New Vision soul are the puzzled quests,and this is why you haven't a Walkthrough.But,note that the spirit of Fallout 2 is the liberty,and to always play the game with this mod (like an expansion),this spirit must be preserved. Maybe it's an idea to be able to finish the quests in two ways,an easier one and a harder one-with much more experience? Now,no Walkthrough,but an ammo/weapon table is absolutely necessary,even if it's a mini-spoiler,to know what you're doing when you play the game.I must make a chart myself to know how to play the next game after some months?The idea is to play almost all games with this mod installed... (If someone find and post such a chart,I can comment some ammo changes which I can't remember now because I played some times ago.) Anyway,my idea of fixing the AP ammo is to give it 2/3 damage mod (if it's possible from scripts),to preserve the game:this ammo must be worse than the FMJ.Raising to 1/1 means raising all ammo types accordingly,like they did in Survivor,which makes the game harder. Also,I remember not changing the 5mm AP which still sucks (I played New Vision 1.1),why's that? And,now,the most important issue,this mod isn't compatible with Killap's patch.If I must choose what mod to play,I go with Killap,there are so many things which bugs me without it (the most important,Cassidy's combat options resets).The patch became a must,it's extremely important that New Vision to became friendly with it (or fix the bugs yourself,if it's impossible). This is all.Keep up the good work!

First of all, I must say that this is definately the best fallout mod I've played, and I've played alot of them. Poker alone made using your gambling skill actually fun. I do have a question, though. Where are the new negative karma quests? The only one's I'm aware of are killing the farmers who are trying to defend themselves against slavers, and killing the kid who was stealing vegtables (which isn't really a quest solution I just found no repercussions). I found mention on this board of an evil quest with Torr and Bhramin, though I could not figure out how to begin that quest. I also considered there might be a way to get the other trapper (not Smiley, forget the new one's name) mentioned by the Golden Gecko's bartender to teach you to skin gecko's, found his location, but again couldn't find out how to even get an extended conversation with him. Also, when asking the same bartender if he had a job, even when my karma was negative he said "nothing that would intrest you". Perhaps there's a way to solve or at least pick sides with the Dunton/Buckner dispute, but once again cannot figure out how. Any help, especially with finding the 'scripting trigger' for negative karma quests in Klammath would be much appreciated.

Do not try to solve quests rigth after you've got them. Try to talk with the other NPCs . Forget about your past experience .

How do i put things together? I learned how to make armors and how to combine technical stuff. But HOW!? Is there a special window? A new skill? I tried: Putting stuff in hands. Nothing. Putting one thing on the other in inv. Nothing. Putting one thing in the hand, than the other on it...like reloading. Guess. NOTHING.

Look at the Chosen One (right clicks to make the cursor look like a spear then aim for the Chosen One, hold left mouse button and then in the dropdown menu choose the binoculars and release the button).

Farmer Sam in Klamath says about Sajag. Thry to work with him . Then you'll be able to work with Duntons. And, if you have enough charisma, there is another one "bad quest" with some girl. PS And don't try to save any missing people .

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I'll start a new game, keeping in mind that a conversation line with Sam is the key to talking with Sajag, and getting to work with the Duntons. I assumed you meant by not rescuing missing people, Smiley is that person, and I believe I discovered the high charisma 'quest' with a girl, if you mean the one you can convince to have an affair. Done her already. Thanks again, I'll be back if I run into any more problems, but I think I'll be able to figure it out with the hint you gave me. And again, I really, really like this mod. Great work!

Ok, tried again, but every time I ask to work for Sajag he says "nothing that would intrest you". Now I've tried asking with negative karma, but still the same. I also killed Slim to earn his favor, but still no go. How do I get to work with him?

Take "Find Smiley" quest and only then talk to Sajag. I don't remember, may be you will aslo need to talk to Sam before Sajag.

I've got 2 problems with this wonderfull mod, and I think I need help pronto. 1) I did not cheat my way through the temple of trials, everytime I exit Arroyo and then return everyone hates me, which hinders me from being able to finish Lucas quest, which makes me frustrated cause I really enjoy this mod. 2) Hakkunin or whatever his name is always tell me that "Late is the time you of your return" or something, doesn't matter which time it is. Help meeeee

Ok, I'm an idiot, all that is fixed, just by reading the different replies around here. I still have one problem though, Hakkunin speaks about giving my spear a dark soul or something, at the time I read it I kind of just skipped through it, what kind of creature do I need to skin to get this item so I can get a more powerfull spear, if its possible?

Yes, it is. I think, TeamX should clearly said that the "most powerfull" spear - it means a poisoned spear. Hakkunin can do that if you bring them: (1) spear or knife, (2) component X, (3) component Y. Listen Hakkunin.

Ahh Iam dump... Ive been too slow (12 days limit) ... But I have found bug. Keeper of bridge sharpen for me another spear. When I want 3rd He said that he is too busy. I said "Teach me how to sharp and I will not bother you" He teached me and gave me flint to sharping. BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO SHARP. I havent any sharping perk or something.... PLS HELP.. I want to sharp all da spears I cant found (Addition of 18:48 - 26 Sep., 2006.) Pls .... I know Iam anoying or dumb but I have 2 questions. 1. I can catch thief on the field in klamath. I rented room into a night come to the field but nothing hapens. 2. I tryed to play as a shaman. What can I do to some proper ritual at unknown day... I dont understand it... Shaman is still in meditation and I cant move with that Q.... PLS answer.... I cant move without Q1---

This is forum, not chat. Keep your reputation above 30 and return to certain date. Look at the pole near Hakunin's tent. From it's description you'll know the right date. You must use "MrFixit" to sharpen your spear. Choose "description" and click on Choosen.

THX a lot.... I never know that --- Btw ... superb mode. Realy awesome. Its pity that isnt all the gam in that spirit. I realy LOVE when you have only few items and you must go trought it by your self (like in fallout 1) than simply in the begining go into reding and pick up rifles from locker (not secured). That realy damaging atmosphere of da game. (You must KILL for lockers with nothing, but cool lockers are completely unsecured). PS.: sorry 4 off topic but I must tell that youre did BIG upgrade of the game. If you remake that way whole fallout, It will be best of the games I ever played and I will be ready even to BUY the mod.

No. About "bad way". Do not save Smiley. Take the quest and talk to Sajag. Sam says to you that Sajag has a key to closed part of TrapperTown. You can get it from Sajag by talking about missing trapper -- Smiley -- and completing Sajag's quest. After that you will be able to talk with him about another quest.

Need help with Klamath sewer. The locked room with the work bench and dead trapper got me stumped. I've got as far as using repair and trying the wrench, but I got nothing. I read that im suppose to use a hammer, but im not sure how and if it a sledgehammer. It says technical skills and materials, so do that mean repair, lockpick,etc. how do i use the skill and 2 items to open the door if thats the case. Please help me out, cause I dont thing ill be able to figure this one out. thanks

Hello everyone, I have 4 question: -How the ... can I get 30 karma when I still in my village ?, It's supposed to be 30 karma to complete the Shaman quest , and besides that, when I go to Karma it's already .....(the day in the Moon Calendar). -How can I find I a dynamite to blow up the rock when I'm in Klamath beside of that the nearest town to get it is redding??And I am not happy with travel too much :| -I can not install Mr.Fixit. When it's come to the Dat unpacker. It said to extract all files in Patch000.dat to Data folder. But there was a problem "can not output files" when I extracting files. And what is the DAT2?? -I can not download the Wordmap Patcher from TeamX utilities (the link broken I supposed Thanks a lot if anyone answer them for me to countinue the Mod cause I really really like this Mod/ P/S: Sorry for my bad E , not an E speaker :|

Stupid TeamX humor. Dynamite exists in Klamath, but one building wall hides it. Walk slow, see around, check all corners.

I got it with the Shaman quest, It took me 3 hours of quick saves and quick load. I have to take the Smiley quest as quick as possible and when I come back it has already the day. Solve the "rumors" problem and do the Shaman quest. About the dynamite: Any more particular detail, plz??? 2 other problems: Mr.Fixit and Worldmap patcher @Alan: Thx. Plz answer other 2 problems cause I have a dam n high speed computer, seldom random encounters T_T

There is another one quest: new location between Arroyo and Klamath. Talk to Slik to find out where it is.

It is in Vic's house. Among all the other stuff. It is the most logical place, if you try to think about it.

Thanks for information but however , with slow speed in world map (tools ) and an outdoorman skill of 3x% , my random encounter appear about 2 times per month travel How can I improve that. (trying some bull-head character with intell= 4 :D )

Thax , maybe I should try to operate other games while playing Fallout2 1 more question : Any ideas of making NPC change his/her custom while wearing armor?? The Patch 1.05 (unofficial) did it perfectly :D . And I think it will be very cool if your team all wearing Power Armor, all look like Enclave :D

You can make it. Just replace team members scripts (only *.int files) & start new game.

Anyway to change the number of round and the weight of the ammo?? I was success with the original version but with New vision I can not do that, (I'm using Fallout 2 Weapon Editor. It's very strange when I can modify the cost and the weight of a Scorpion Tail but I can not do that with the ammo (same vesion)

What version of Fallout2 Weapon Editor did you use? Is this the F2wedit 1.29a2? This version is working on master.dat and patch000.dat files but has one minor bug. If you want to exit from editor yuo sould refresh ALL files to set Read-Only attribute. Use from main menu: 1. "Options --> Change attributes.. --> Read Only" 2. "Filtr-Refresh-->All" 3. Now you can exit from editor and you will have all items proto files as read-only. sorry for the bug, this will be fixed in next version. But if you use F2wedit 1.27beta or older than you must know that there is new version 1.29alfa2.

Got some problems . T_T I did like you said but it hasn't changed . I even created a new character to test but it still likes that.My ammo per round is not changed. My version is 1.29 alpha 2 I think it is the last version isn't it?

OK, I know what is wrong This is because you have the patch000.dat file in Fallout2 root directory! If you want to edit/change or whatever do with any files you should unpack all files from patch000.dat, rename or delete (make backup) the patch000.dat and now you will can change or make new anything and it will apear properly in game. And yes, this is the last version of F2wedit, 1.29 alpha 2, for now..

do I have to start a new game for the effects?? where can I unpack to? the Fallout Directory isnt it? but I thought I can not run the mod-runner without patch000.dat?? Plz ,. thanks ^ ^

You do not have to start new game to take effect after editing/changing items, but be careful: If you want to change any armor you should remove the armor from dude in game to inventory!!! This is important, because if your dude in game has wearing armor and you edit this armor then in game dude will has strange statistics!! Unpack the files to Fallout Directory hmm.. I do not know how to describe this, sorry, my Englisgh is to poor . Search at NMA forum in Obj_dude's FAQ. For what do you ned modrunner? If you will have all files unpacked then modrunner is not needed. BTW: after unpacking patch000.dat you should set ReadOnly attrib for all files in Data/Proto/Items/*.* and Data/Proto/Critters/*.* This is very important! Good luck

to run the b-team patch :| ,(change NPC appearance ) Whenever I run mod-runner it said that "Patch000.dat could not found" or something like that.

As I know B-Team is not compatible with New Vision but I am not quite sure. Ask NV's authors for this matter. I looked at the NPC's scripts from NV12 and B-Team and they are different, so I think TeamX made some changes to NPC scripts in NV12. I do not know what changes maybe some important so you could not use New Vision with B-Team mod, sorry :/

Actually , it works :D , when haven't use the weapon editor , I can use the mod-runner with B-team, and it works smoothly. I have reinstall F2 , and install the New Vision 1.2 . After that, I used "dat_explorer" to extracted "patch000.dat" in the root directory Fallout 2, then I back up that file and delete it. Then after that I start the game but it was the original version ,not New Vision?? Then I restore the patch000.dat, the New Vision mod works smoothly??? Is that mean that I can not delete or change or unpack that damn patch000 ?????

I do not understand this. Does the NV12 works with B-Team if you not use weapon editor? I do not understand this, but if its wokrs than ok However if you want to use weapon editor and you want to use NV12 and B-Team mod (sorry, but I still think that it is not good idea to use NV12 with B-Team but this is your choice..) tohether so the file patch000.dat form NV mod must be unpacked to this directiories: You can unpack patch000.dat into Fallout2\Data directory. Change the name of patch000.dat to another (make backup). Set read-only attrib for all files in Fallout2\Data\Proto\Items and Fallout2\Data\Proto\Critters You can make this by selecting all files and click right mouse button and select properies and then check read-only attrib Do this for files in Items and Critters which contains *.pro files.

Ya it worked , and your replies totally revealed my problems ,thanks to you when I did it all wrong!! Since I unpacked Patch000.dat to the Fallout2/ Then I just need to rename patch00 I suppose ^ ^. You are right but not at all, so go by this steps: -First, reinstall Fallout2 -Patch 1.02 --> not needed if you will play with New Vision 1.2 mod, but you can install the patch (NOTE from readme.txt for NV12: the mod *already* contains the 1.02d patch.) -add Mod New Vision 1.2 -Unpack "patch000.dat" to a new folder -Copy all files unpacked to Fallout 2/DATA -Rename Patch000 -Use Weapon Editor to edit the details -Then set items and crittters to "read-only" - > very important !!! Oh, in data/proto/scenery do the same, I forgot about this!! -Use Mod-runner and tick only 1 file: B-Team mod. Do not use the old patch000 (renamed) !!! I think this will works good

I done all the steps but it struggled at the last steps, seem like without the file Patch000.dat , then "modrunner" can not work properly. Since when I start the game with mod runner and B-team it always have an error message: "can not save patch000.dat Then I think about unpack B-team.dat too!! after unpack it I only see the script folder, I paste it to data/script . and then I run the game with screenmode patcher (to slow down the worldmap) . Then right after that, I cracked when I use weapon editor again to edit a minor problem :D (when I enter the temple, the game crashed). Anyway to fix?

You did good to unpack B-Team mod and paste this script folder to data/scripts But I still think, that B-Team is not compatible with New Vision! I think that the problem is with Klint script, because in NV mod Klint has some changes, maybe in dilaog and B-Team changes klint's script too and there are could be some missing dialog lines. So the game crashes on Temple map. Try to play without B-Team so you will know what is wrong, and without screenmode patcher. I have installed Fallout2 patched to 1.02d, installed NV12, unpacjked files from the mod NV12 and renamed patch000.dat and all is ok in my Fallout2:New Vision. I can edit, change items by my editor and all is ok!! But I do not use any othjer mods or patches!

well that item I edited is the bolt in the beginning of the temple. I think when I was editing it, the character equipped it. Maybe it is the reason for the crash?? Currently I'm trying this again, if any result I will report it here. :D , and after I do all the work aboves I will not be able to use Falche so it will take a longer time to test the correction P/S: -you should use adverb "well" in addition to the verbs not "good" :p (just correct it, no bad intentions . srry )

Do not use any other patches or mods! Only NV12 and all will be ok. Do this as I did! And you can still use weapon editor then.

Test done!!, visited Klamath and buy a round of 10mm for 24 bullets ,and get sulik in Leather Jacker outfit!! Thank you very much!! P/S: It's okie for me since I have to listen or read more awful English every days ^ ^ , because I'm not native speaker either.(Asian)

Sorry about bothering again about klamath rocks to go underground but I'm really stuck and I couldnt find a walkthrough for NV 1.2final... have been reading many posts about people stucked there too. What rocks should i move? People said something about using a spring... is that the coil(some weird technical thingie)? Ive tryed to use it in most klamath rocks. Please help me! BTW: The only xplosivs i have is a molotov... there are dinamite or plastics on klamath/arroyo or should i move other town for it? I didnt moved to den or the unknow location yet to save traveling time.

Dammit! I was on the right rock but I was missing that dynamite on vics house... Ive droped the explosive with 10 sec timer and the child that was following me was almost blasted! lol Now I'm in! Thanks for the help and for not flaming me. (Addition of 16:57 - 20 Feb., 2007.) Im experiencing crashes everytime I fight the father of the vegetables stealer kid. He tryes to punch me and then I attack him... I'm not strong yet so Im not able to kill him in one round. When I pass my turn the clock starts spinin he attacks me once again and them the game freezes... ctrl+alt+del is the only way. Tryed 4 times it happened all of them... is there other way to stop the thiefs, cause theres no dialog option to tell the farmer who is stealing... all i can say is that i will give him a prove? (Addition of 17:17 - 20 Feb., 2007.) Got it. Could kill him in one round... game still freezes if I start any fights on klamath main map... just hope i dont have to do it again One more think... 12 days expires to complete warrior quest if I travel from klamath to arrayo... any way i could edit the date on the same game or something like? I dont really wanna start a new game or fail at this quest.

you really need to start a new game if you have passed 12 days and still want to be a warrior.(or shaman) since that basta... Lucas and Hakumin are so mean and no outstanding...

I was able to do the quest by using falche to gain patchfinder perk... afther all I was just a few hours late. Another problem Ive had: I cant get the ghost farm quest... for some ( or no ) reason when I ask Sheriff Joe for the quest he says: "Yup, thats one big chip in your shoulder. Why dont you come back when that chip isnt quite so big? You have a nice day, and watch out for that door on your wayout. and so I can only "[END]" dialog. Did I [censored] this quest someway???

In the Den, the dialogue seems to be a screwed up. I can't get anyone to tell me that Vic is being held captive by Meztger nor can I talk to him about vic. I can still kill all the slavers and free vic that way, but I really don't like my options being closed off. Is there anyway that I can fix this, it is really bugging me.

We did nothing with Den. Try to reinstall FO2 and mod and start a new game. PS F2NV is not compatible with any other fanmade patches and mods!

Sorry to be a bother but I am having trouble in the Klamath underground. I am outside the door that has an electronic lock and I figured out from the posts before that it cannot be forced. I have found the wrench in the locker from the deepest part of the sewers but where do I find the hammer?

Hi guys, I really like the mod, but I've gotten stuck on something. I can't figure out the ingredients needed for Hakkunin (that's probably misspelled) to improve your spear or knife. I think the embryo of evil he talks about is a radscorpion tail, otherwise where's the poison gonna come from, but I can't remember the other part and can't figure out what it is. I know it had to do with death, and at the time I thought it was a skin of a dead animal, but so far he's not improving anything. Also, can he do this to throwing knives? I noticed a .pro file when browsing that had a picture of a throwing knife with poison on it like the one in Hakkunin's inventory (I stole it, hee hee) but the item seemed incomplete and unfinished. It had no description or name, etc etc. I'd LOVE to see that in-game if it isn't already, as my character is a melee/throwing guy.

I saw on NMA what I was missing... At first it didn't work and I was like "What the hell!?!?" But I tried picking up another one and it worked. Very convenient there were two laying right there in Hakunin's garden.

Okay, where's the hammer? No cryptic clues, like "it's there, keep looking." I've searched what seems like every pixel of the sewers and can't find it.

On the last map of the sewer (if I'm not mistaken, the farthest east) in the upper right corner in a square room on the north side it's laying on the ground on the grating on the floor. I wouldn't have seen it if my cursor didn't happen to go over it and highlight it. :P

I've been all over Klamath and the Den looking for the little thief who's stealing the veggies, but I can't. This is not the spirit of Fallout. Can someone please just tell me where he is?

Yes! Please. I've also looked all over Klamath for the vegetable thief but I havn't found anything that gives me a clue. Nothing! I've tried looking under every bed, in every bookshelf, in every room. I've rented rooms and I've talked to every single citizen.. I've hidden in the crops and pip-boyed the time away 30 minutes at a time for days! There's just no finding the thief! This is getting really frustrating, and it's making this great mod less enjoyable. Please help?

If the thief sees you, he flees from you. He is not stupid. Try to hide somewhere outside the crops.
